I can't say I actually knew I was gay, but I did know, from a very early age that something wasn't working in any attempt I made to be a "normal" straight male.

I couldn't work out why I wasn't obsessed with pussy like my straight friends. I convinced myself that it was because I was an enlightened pro-feminist male (ha!) But I never allowed myself to actively lust for men. I suppose I "knew" when I first had sex with a guy in my early 30s.
