I had to see a urologist a few years ago for a kidney stone. Of course the doc had me lower my pants/briefs. Immediately he started feeling my balls and said the word, "Hydrocele", which I didn't know what the heck he was talking about. and yes, there are some precautions you have to take -- they are easy to sit on. Mine sometimes get in the way and are squeezed when I sit. They tend to show through my pants a lot.
