Two sexual urban legends

Can anybody set the record "straight" about two sexual urban legends that we've all heard about? If you work in the Hollywood film industry or know someone who does, can you tell us the TRUTH about these two oft-told stories? I'd appreciate it!

ONE--Was Jim Nabors really ever married to Rock Hudson or even having
M2M sex with him?

TWO--What's the deal about Richard Gere having to go the emergency
room of an LA hospital because he put a gerbil up his behind??
Did he really do that or not?

What's the truth behind these tales? And does anyone have any other sexual urban legends to add? If so, please feel free! Thanks!
