I think it's a great read, and I enjoyed it very much. Yes, ten is a stretch and as has been said many times, simply ignore that particular point. Replace it with any number that you, as a reader, wish to use. If that is the only sticking point problem you have with this story, then I'd say this story is all in all a good one. I haven't read anything negative other than that.
