depends. I never stop and let go, and I don't like it if someone else does...but I sometimes stop moving and just hold it or squeeze a little, sometimes I just slow down a little bit and pause and then make a few more strokes after I've blown, kinda milkin' a little more out and usually just go base to head, but I do get really sensitive really quick and can't just keep stroking. Sometimes my gf tries to keep going if she's jerking me off and I find it painful, so she's had to learn the timing and pausing but I do like having my boundaries pushed a little bit...

I prefer the stroking to continue until my penis quits throbbing. To continue stroking makes the orgasm last longer.

I can't imagine stopping the stroking before, during or after ejaculating. After my orgasm my strokes may be shorter and slower and then stripping the last drops of come out of my dick so I won't get as much dripping after shooting. Sometimes I can pull a second one off but usually I just hold on until things quiet down. I have heard this often, that the glans gets very, VERY sensitive after orgasm in males, almost to the pint of discomfort, even pain. I have wondered what the evolutionary purpose behind this might be.

I have seen scientific video showing that, during orgasm the female's cervix will move toward and contact the opposite wall of the vagina, ostensibly to dip itself into the pool of ejaculate.

I'm a slow stroker, so I tend to slow down even more as I'm getting close, then just run the whole length of it during ejaculation. My favorite part of climax is when you are coming up to it, that point right before you are about to explode. The long slow strokes tend to prolong that for me.

When I'm getting close I tend to slow my strokes to almost a stop, but after I drop over the edge I speed up again. Stroking through an orgasm makes it last longer (though I'm not a fan of furious strokes at that point, it's usually slower than my normal ones). I stop after the cum stops.

I'd say you know it's going to happen 30 seconds before, so if you want to delay it, you can change the rhythm and back down until you want to go there. Once you're within 5 seconds of launch, there's no turning back!
