What's the appropriate weekly tip for a newspaper delivery person who delivers the paper 6 days a week?

And what's an appropriate Christmas tip for them?

Leash the rottweiller once a week and leave some mince pies on the stoop at Xmas. Surely that's a show of gratitude that's more than money.

The man who delivers my newspaper 7 mornings a week, gets out of his car, climbs some steep steps from the street to my yard and puts the paper inside my storm door, even when it's snowing.

I give him a $50 tip every Christmas. I also save the rubber bands from the paper and give them back to him every few weeks.
