Condom that'll Fit?

Hey guys (and gals),

Obviously, this is my first post here and i'd like to say hullo to everybody. Besides being self-absorbed when it comes to large genitals, you seem alright. lol j/k I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here though .seriously.

Now, as the thread title'll suggest, i'm having trouble finding a condom that'll really fit me. I've tried on the standard Durex condom before and it snapped. My penis is 8" long, 6" around uncut. Can anyone help me find a condom that'll fit me (and preferrably doesn't cost like, 100 dollars for 5 of them)?

MagnumXL's will fit but are a bit pricey. OR you can go to a family planning clinic and ask for some free large condoms. Here the large brand is called Pasante Large.

Well so far, from reading measurements it sound slike something like the Durex Avanti polyurethane would be the best bet (8" in length, and about 1.25 inches across, so I think that'd fit me almost perfectly), or the Durex Natural Feeling, which are slightly smaller than the Avanti.


People go on about how it's a good thing to have a gibigulous penis, but just like having a high metabolism, it's very costly and high maintenance. lol

If you're 6" around, your math is terrible if you think something with a 1.25" diameter will fit you.

Circumference = pi x diameter
Circumference = approx. 3.14 x 1.25"
Circumference = 3.93"

Ouch. That's tighter than a regular; probably the size of a Snugger Fit.

I have a 6" girth too, go for Magnum XL's if you want the best fit.

While the XL would probably be big enough around, it says on the site it's 8 1/2" long. i'm usually 7 and 3/4-8" long. I'm afraid it'd be like, a half-inch too long most of the time?

See, having "safe" sex is really complicated with me, so that's why I can't do it with a woman or top a guy. Since everyone else seems to have a "normal" sized one, I always had to be a bottom.

No sweat, I'm only 7" long, and it works fine for me. It fits nicely and snuggly, but not uncomfortably so. The shortest mainstream condoms are about 7.1" long, and many many man are shorter than that (since the average penile length is about 5.5" or possibly less). Therefore, if length was an issue, very few men would be able to effectively wear condoms, and that's certainly not the case in reality.

Sacrificing condom girth for condom length is a good way to break a rubber. If it's too tight, it will:

1) be painful.
2) be more prone to breaking.

BTW, the Durex one is about the size of a regular Trojan Magnum, which will be tight on you since it's circumference is about 5" (slightly above the average penile girth which is 4.75ish").

the girth of the condom is really more important for the condom than length. i mean, if it doesn't cover your entire penis, that's fine. and if you can't unroll it the whole way, that's cool too. i'm a bit shorter than you (7" long), and the Magnum XL works for me fine. it's really girth that you want to pay attention to. snug enough to grip your cock, but not so tight it hurts or feels suffocated or anything.

As others have said, you want Magnum XL. It's really a no-brainer for your length and girth. Lengthwise, condoms are generally designed to be slightly longer than the penis--for some of us, they never work out that way, but consider that an average size condom is about 7" long, an inch or two longer than the average penis.

Forget the Avanti polyurethane brand unless a latex allergy is involved. Those condoms are made wider because they stretch much less than latex, so that would actually be much tighter on you.

I may just be echoing everyone else here, but yeah... Trojan Magnum XLs have worked the best for me thus far. When I was young and naive, I kept trying the regular condoms. I started off with the standard Trojans and Lifestyles, or whatever I could get ahold of at the time. I honestly didn't know that I was above average (despite my ex-girlfriend's comments... I just thought she was being nice). I soon realized, however, that condoms are not supposed to break just by putting them on. (Nothing quite as unpleasant as having them snap the wrong way and flick you on the cockhead like a rubber band.) I first tried upgrading to the Magnums, but found that they were still a bit snug. I could get them on without breaking them, but they would pinch a bit and strangle my cock, making the veins bulge out obscenely. (My girlfriend at the time said that it made my penis look "angry.") The Magnum XLs ended up being the right size for me. Judging by our similar sizes, I would venture to guess that they would work well for you.

Now as far as price goes, that just depends on where you live. Try to stay away from run-of-the-mill grocery or pharmacy stores as they tend overprice them at around $10-$15 American for a box of 12. Even porno shops usually overprice them. As much as I hate supporting evil, I've found that WalMart has the best deals on the XLs around my neck of the woods at around $5-$7 for the 12-pack. Outside of that, I would recommend shopping around the usual online spots. I've seen a few good deals on Ebay and Half.com, but you usually have to buy in bulk for the shipping to be economical.

it took me a while too but i finally found some they are from pasante healtcare and the large ones will fit!!

I'm about 8x6 and the regular Magnums work fine, although they are difficult to roll because they usually get stuck halfway down because I'm thicker there.

I would highly suggest the Magnum Twisters though. Just like the regular sized twisters, but bigger. It gives me more head room, rolls on better, and feels about 75% better (because I have foreskin, it enhances the sensation greatly because of the slightly extra latex at the head). My girlfriend also likes the sensation from the Twisters better than the regular Magnums as well. i think they're like $7 a box of 12 at WalMart or something. I don't know - she buys them.

If you're near a Walmart, they sell a box of 12 Magnum XLs for about $5.

That's not expensive. It's about the same price as most other 12 packs of condoms.

Magnum XL for wide all the way up, and Magnum Twister for those who want lots of head room without too much more width at the base. The base of the Magnum Twister is about midway between the Magnum and the XL.

I have seen Magnum xl on ebay, 3 boxes of twelve for about 15.oo US with shipping.
