'Grey's Anatomy' Star Confirms He's Gay

Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight has confirmed he is gay. The actor, who plays unassuming Dr. George O'Malley on the hit series, decided to go public after rumors began surfacing about his sexuality. Knight confirms to American publication People, "I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumours that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me." Media reports have suggested that Knight was forced to make an official statement after details of a fight between co-stars Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey became public. According to the National Enquirer, the two got into a fight while Filming the show last week and Washington allegedly yelled to Dempsey, "I'm not your little f****t like (name deleted)." The publication said they withheld printing the actual name of the co-star Washington mentioned "because of the extreme nature of the slur."

Looks like there will be an accident on the hospital's helicopter pad. Hope washington didn't spend those pay checks on frivolous things....

I suspect that decapitation by a stabilizer blade is a the fat lady singing. None of of the decapitated people I know were able to confirm this, none of them answered, when I called them. It might have something to do with their being dead.

I have heard that they might be recasting the role instead of killing off the character, from what I have read on other forums, his characters seems to be pretty pivitol to this upcoming season so I doubt they would kill him off, at least not until February Sweeps lol.

I always thought Knight was way cuter than the so-called "Dr. McDreamy" or most of the other guys on that show. I'm proud of him that he had the courage to come out, despite homophobic assholes like Isaiah Washington. If he has a problem with Knight's orientation, he should leave the show. He's getting paid huge money to act, so let him "act" like he tolerates gays and lesbians. Considering that Washington has been the victim of racial slurs in his pre-"Gray's" life, you'd have thought he'd be the first to be tolerant of others' differences. Guess he's got a whole lot more to learn in life than just his next script, huh?
