Hi all,
What is the best method to shaving your balls without cutting yourself with a razor?
also, if you shave your balls, is it best to shave the pubes, trim them up a bit or just leave them as they are?

Pluck them out one at a time...also takes away concern of stubble or them growing back.

A shaved scrotum is a delight. A totally shaved pubic area looks quite ridiculous. I would suggest you go for the shaved scrotum/clippered crotch look - just the ticket!

I use a mentholated shaving oil, it makes sure everythihg scrunches up, and makes shaving easier. I shave the hair on my balls, the penianular nape, and imediately around my scrotum, then trim the upper pubes.

Vaseline or its equivalent is a good thing to use if u shave ur scrotum..it has superior lubrication qualities allowing the razor to glide over the skin rather than dig into it...which really hurts...donside to shaving the scrotum..itches like hell when hair begins to regrow

If I am gonna shave my testicles, I usually get a razor that I have used for a week or two. I tend to have a warm shower and I have done all my soaping and such so I am squeaky clean.

Before I get out, I grab the razor and lift my "sack" up and shave underneath. Works just fine and the warm water makes the shaving easy... provided u go slow.

Those Mach-whatever razors work well too. It's difficult to slice yourself because there are several blades millimeters apart. I haven't shaved my balls or perineum for a long time. I use Sally Hansen depilatory. Seems a bit milder than Nair. You have to be careful with that stuff too.

I started shaving my nuts by trimming down the bulk of the hair with a normal beard trimmer and then taking off the remaining stubble with shaving cream and a 3 blade shaving cartridge. Over the years, I've tried using my rotary shaver, but find that it tends to pull and nick occasionally.

It does a great job on my sac and shaft. Also comes with three guards that allow you to trim hair to different lengths. Besides my sac and shaft, I use it on my chest, armpits, and anywhere else that needs to be trimmed...

I also use the Norelco Bodygroom. It's great for a quick shave either in the shower/bath or before. Gone are cuts and nicks. I highly recommend the Bodygroom to men who trim or shave their legs, arms, chest, pubic area, etc.

Really? You think all shaved areas look ridiculous? I agree that some people shouldn't, while others may be able to pull it off. I know I take great pride and a fair amount of time grooming down there. I've never had a complaint.

Thats the way I go about it.

A bath, shaving cream (always), and a sharp razor. I like the Mach3 Power - it cuts very efficiently. Whatever you do - don't apply downward pressure to the head of the razor. If you go with the grain once (and only once), follow it up with a "no-pressure" stroke against the grain. Ahh..smooth as a - well, as smooth as I am.

Get used to the itch at first - it will go away. Your skin will become used to being shaved and you'll never want to go back.

After a nice hot shower when all the skin is relaxed, I use a Mach 3 with a pivoting head and shaving gel, not cream. I rinse the blade after almost every stroke to keep the blades clear of hair.

Stretching the skin out is important to get all the little hairs. The testies are tough becuase you're shaving blind. Go gently and smoothly. Done! The skin on and around the penis/testicles is VERY resilient...one would think the opposite. I've never cut myself, but have cch

I usually apply hand lotion rather than after shave, much more soothing. If you shave consistently, the itching goes away completely. I've been clean shaving for the most of 10 years and there's nothing like it. I wuoldn't have it any other way. I always get that curious look from my family doctor, I think those that shave are well in the minority. So be it !!

The hair on the sides/base of the shaft are a bitch to get rid of.

I use nair on my balls...no cuts and it lasts longer. My girl friend loves my smooth (no stubble) balls.
