We all know the reason for it, but much as I hate to admit it, the lazy fucking asshole liberal idiots refuse to do anything about it. Yes, I'm liberal, but I am involved.

Sadly enough, those who think (politically) like I do are overwhelmingly unlikely to actually vote, and even less likely to write, often, to the elected politicians. Even though we are the majority of asses on the couch, only the tiniest microcosm of us are activist. On the other hand, the neo-con sheep do whatever their (politically greedy) preacher tells them to - in other words, they get out and vote in numbers, electing the slimiest "family values" candidate who offers them some political perks.

Really. So sad.

It isn't only the Aztecs who have that date or thereabouts - now I AM worried.

Maybe a job in PR, MZ?

Or the Diplomatic corps - I don't know if the US has an envoy there.

Learn to dive, go to Utila, a few miles off the North coast of Honduras, I used to teach there and I'll put in a word with Ron for you if you like. It is (or was) a great place, dive all day, chill at sunset then party all night. The supply boat comes once a week and that night the power stays on for a mega bash and it's full of transient ogle+ potential.

Now, why was it I left exactly????

Shoot. I thought the end of the world was going to happen when they banned Alex8 and Spladle.

As far as the Caribbean, I had real difficulty getting back on the boat to leave St. Thomas.....

put it in perspective. ohio is not the most conservative state in the country. how would mz fare living in rural alabama? or lufkin texas where a guy remarked to me once "those homos are having a convention up in austin this week, they oughta set a bomb off up thar".

political hypocrites come from everywhere. look at rush limbaugh. he harshes on everyone "liberal" while popping pills. congressman baumann from maryland, a conservative unfriendly to gay causes, was caught with his pants down doing the nasty with guys years ago. eventually, people like this are "outed" in one way or another and lose their clout.

i hear ya tho. i'll split the cost on a boat to spain if ya want.

I could have sworn I heard him say, "them homos," not "those homos."

Unfortunately, they often are not "outed" until they have been abusing the citizens and the system and dipping their fingers (shit, I'll be honest, dipping their whole families) in the till, stealing from us, legislating against us while they violate those very laws... for 20 or more years.

Cunningcunt... I mean Cunningham of California is a prime example of a financial slimebag. Ney is an example of a moral slimebag. Is there a difference? Only in the methods, my friend, only in the methods.

I bothers me only a little that this slimeball is an alcoholic.

It bothers me a quite a bit that he's in league with a corrupt lobbyist. It bothers me a slight bit more that his league with this lobbyist probably earned him a sizeable, illegal income.

But what really, REALLY gets my goat is that this man, who claims to be in it for families, is imho, using his illness as JUSTIFICATION for what he did! Sorry, NO! His alcoholism had nothing to do with why he accepted money from Abramoff. It is simply a "pitty me, i'm a sick man" plea from him to gain sympathy, and hopefully forgiveness from his republican supporters and his conservative constituents. Yes, the sheep love having the wool pulled over their eyes. It almost seems like they ask for it!

Jana, you really should think about moving to Tampa, Fl. where you could make outfits in the stripper capital of the world! With vice law enforcement like this, who needs Don Adams as Maxwell Smart. http://www.tbo.com/news/metro/MGB3BFRNJSE.html

The two and-a-half year investigation of the evil goings on at Lil' Tootsies Bikini Bar yeilded exactly 6 arrests for misdemeaner infractions involving the showing of "bodacious fleshious" in the V.I.P. room of the establishment. To make an iron-clad arrest, the officers of Hillsborough County spent $6,416 of taxpayer money on alcoholic drinks and repeated lap dances. In many instances the neccesity for the return performances was explained (by sheriff's spokesmen) due to the fact the dancers all went by names such as Destiny, Cherry and Asia making the identification of their real names difficult for the undercover dectectives.

The unit, which went by the code name Sheriff Gee's Lunch Brigade was a specially trained unit in vice enforcement with each member having undergone rigorous classroom and field training.*

Violent gang and crime and crime against women and children has been on the increase in Hillborough County, but with bugetary contraints and an incipient property tax revolt Sheriff David Gee doubts whether he can hire more field deputies.*

Gee whiz, thirteenby, stop being such a cantankerous butt-head. You know as well as I do that it's more important to arrest a woman for jiggling her jugs in some guys face, than it is to curtail gang activity or to arrest a "rapist."
