you do need to know when something is the actual teachings of the church and when its the actions of a group within catholism who have voice due to who is Pope
?? so the pope doesn't represent the catholic church now? if catholics don't believe what the pope says, why don't they get rid of him? you're arguing in circles!

No your simply not listening, this policy that has been brought into place has nothing to do with Catholism, its not a law, dogma or canon, and alot of parish's simply wont do it.

Even you must know that the Pope cannot change Catholic dogma, he might represent Catholism, it doesn't mean he cannot be wrong and it doesn't mean we are brain washed muppets who agree with everything.

frankly you are arguing with yourself in this thread, you know nothing about what the Catholic teachings are on homosexuality and if you did you'd know thats why its easy for me to say the Pope is wrong with this measure, Catholism as a faith never rejects homosexuals, its individuals who do that, if a Cardinal or someone writes something homophobic thats his view, not the view of Catholics or our faith, and its up to people like myself to let them know we do not find that acceptable within the Church in the modern age.

At the end of the day its easy to say what you do, but the the simple fact is you don't know what your talking about and the fact you can't even take in someone elses point or ideas says alot more about you than it does for me.
