Condom Numbness - Is This Healthy?

Everytime I have sex I get this annoying numbness feeling from the condom. At first, I thought it was just me getting super hard and not being able to control my erection or maybe the chick just slipped me a viagra or something and I didn't know it. But then I started realizing that it was actually painful to an extent and limiting my erection potential, plus I get this bright red ring on my penis after sex.

I have always used magnum condoms, because that is what my first girl gave me to use, but I recently switched to magnum XL. However, I really don't see any difference between the two.

I've had less than 10 partners in my lifetime, but we have all had sex a lot of times.

Any advice?

Is it possible that the condom Ring is too tight for you and acting like a cock ring, putting your dick to sleep? That would explain the red ring, and numbness.

I know you use magnum XL. Maybe you are allergic to the lube or the latex.

Numbness is never good and should be avoided. It does sound like the condom ring is way too tight.

Someone else can answer this better than I....However, couldn't you just stretch the condoms a bit beforehand.. like slide your fingers and pull on the ring?

Not that I'm aware of...I tried some Condomi XXL before and they weren't much bigger than regular condoms and a lot less 'roomier' than Magnum XL's.

Yeah, unfortunately I've tried this already. No matter how much I stretch the condom ring, it still rolls on with a tight sensation, and the red ring it leaves always there. =\

I can't complain about Condomi XXL enough. They are a ghastly product, and represent one of the most hideously cynical marketing strategies thrust upon the world by a German company in recent years imho.

The name "XXL" is readily acknowledged as a deliberate marketing ploy, and nothing more, intended to appeal to guys so that they can brag they're using "extta large" condoms and are "well hung". In reality, they might as well be standard fuckin' condoms for the nominal extra length that they possess. For those visiting these forums in need of advice on bigger condoms, they are as good as useless.

I had this issue when i was using smaller condoms. I wouldn't lose the erection, but I couldn't even feel the damn thing, and it left a ring from being too tight. Now that I use appropriately sized ones, it's better. Though it is still a serious take down on the sensation. It's super hard to get off with a condom because it cuts down the feeling so much for me.
