Well, of course theīre not illegal so you CAN buy them at some import places (in the Netherlands for example). But the Eu made up this rule that demostically produced condoms should not be larger than 56mm in diameter - otherwise they donīt get some kind of approval.
I heard the Commission (who comes up with these directives) said it helps in preventing diesease spread and unwanted pregnancies, especially amongst teenagers.
Thinking about it, there could be some truth: if they would be sold here, EVERYONE, especially teenage boys, would buy these huge thinge to impress the ladies even though they donīt fit the way they should to function properly.
Donīt ask me for details abouut this rule though, thats all I know.
