Ok, I'll play along, even though the original question quickly devolved into the catch-all "so what gets you off, ladies?!!"

As has been discussed before, most porn is aimed at a male audience (straight or gay). Back in the day when the first stag films were rolling out of Ye Olde Pornoe Shoppe it was thought women would be a) offended and b) if not that, then for sure never aroused (the old "men respond to visual stimulation, women ehhhhhh not so much" sweeping generalization). Soooooo, since most commercial porn is aimed at guys, no, I don't find much of it entertaining. I don't like watching people (male or female) who perform like wind-up dolls. Forget the dialogue (and the music - eek), can't the director at least suggest that the performers "act" like they're actually enjoying the sex they're having on that hot soundstage in front of various crew members and those 3 fat Teamsters? And as soon as I see a woman on her back on a waterbed wearing thigh-high leopard-skin boots with 6-inch lucite heels, I'm sorry, any possibility of arousal is lost in peals of laughter. That's just wrong on so many levels. Having said all that, I would still gladly worship at the altar of Peter North.

I have heard there are some alternative porn production companies exploring various niches and fetishes, but I'm not really kinky enough to know much about that. I do think the current DIY porn movement is very interesting... and I really only learned of that on here (thank you, LPSG)! I watch porn maybe once a week, and read (and write also) erotic fiction daily. Not het, though - I'm a big fan of gay porn and slash fanfics. There's nothing quite like two gorgeous guys getting it on.

What excites me is mutual enjoyment (both parties getting off on the fucking (or blowing)), and the general lack of degrading that seems to be prevalent in het porn. Also, I just think it's just so fucking sexy to see some pretty young guy getting some serious cock from a hunky older man.

I think that most women don't like the same kind of porn that men like. I have seen a French porn film directed by a woman and I didn't find it very exciting at all (I went limp), too much "acting" and not enough hardcore action.
I'd be surprised if there are many women that like Rocco Siffredi's humiliation based style of porn - although I wouldn't copy him in real life, his films do turn me on more than most.
