The funny thing is that most of the time they went unused, but it was the visual intimidation that kept us in line. But these little critters are from a whole other planet. That's happened with me alot- the Carl Switzer effect too- you think they're cute, but they'll do the damnedest things to you if you give them half a chance, then be forced to let them get away with it. Not my little brother- I caught him doing something stupid, I threatened bodily harm before I turned 18, then I waited till he turned 18, then made good on my threats, which then multiplied a 1,000 fold over the yrs.
