Thinking of trying a cockring...PLEASE HELP!

Folks...

I have a tough time now and then with ED, and even with Cialis I still have trouble keeping everything full.

Because of this, I am thinking of trying a cockring during sex. However, I am a bit confused:

1)All I am really concerned about, is a ring to have at the base of my shaft to keep the blood in there and everything full and stiff. However, I am confused because while researching I see that the ring not only contains the shaft, but also the underside of the scrotum. Why is this? Is this necessary? Or can you find one that that is for "shaft-only"?

2)If I just want a ring for the base of the shaft, what size would I need if my circumference is at 6" (or a wee bit above if the erection is high quality)? What I mean is...the whole circumference vs. diameter has me confused as well because I stink at math LOL. Does anyone here have the same girth as myself and if so, what size ring do you use (if you use it on your shaft only?)

I've used them both ways before and find that when you put your dick and balls through they seem to work better. I think the restriction is lower to the base of your dick that way. There are some that are expandable like velcro or have snaps, maybe try this kind first dick only and dick and balls to see what works best. You could always measure this size and then buy the fixed size based on that measurement.

Go to your local Ace Hardware and check out O-rings for plumbing. They come in all sizes. And, you can also get some great metal O-rings in the hardware department. All at a great price. What a man won't do to decorate his tool! After all, Ace is the Place!

I bought one rubber/latex beaded one that stretches a good deal for shaft-only but the quality sucks and I know it'll bust anytime soon. I only want/need one for the shaft. I also ordered the "Ultimate Cockring" from thier website, which should be here any day.

I also got a pack of the 3 different ring sizes that are rubber. I want to note that the rubber of these particular rings are NOT stretchy and not good for a shaft-only. These things are intended for the cock-n-balls together. Now...the biggest ring was 2" diameter...which would have been WAY too small for the cock-n-balls-together approach for me, but slightly too big for a shaft-only approach. I am 6" in girth without my ED drugs. I did an experiement with the 2" ring to see what kind of shaft you would need to use the 2" as a shaft-only ring.........and you would need AT LEAST a 6.75" girth penis to use a 2" ring for shaft-only....maybe even 7" +!

So I have determined that for now I am going to try to stick with the rubber shaft-only ring that I found, and the one I just recently ordered which should be here anytime now. I may try to see if I can find a metal shaft-only ring as well as a back-up. So far with masterbation the results are exactly what I needed. I can't wait to punish my girlfriend :)

UPDATE!!!!

Ok I got the Ultimate Cockring in the mail a while back...

That thing was TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT! After taking it off it actually left an indentation/bruise around the base of my shaft. Then after a few uses it SNAPPED when I was getting close to orgasm for no apparent reason. This thing musta been stretched to the max, which is comforting to my ego, but bad for my erection. I know this a cock ring thread but i wanted to sugest kegels just in case you havnt heard of them. Kegels are an exercise you can do that will help strengthen your erections. Im sure you can searcg this forum or google if you need more information.

I read so many stories about guys sticking their penis into diffrent holes, gettin stuck, or putting diffrent objects onto their penis, having to go to the ER to get it off. How U guys dare to put a steel ring around the base to avoid blood circulateing? I think the same as you snobbes. That's why I haven't and don't think I ever will try a metal one. I'd only use a stretchy silicone or rubber ring or a leather strap with a snap or buckle. Anything that I know I can get off easily even while hard if I had to. The metal ones scare me.

The metal cockrings really need to be the correct size;
then you wont have any need for boltcutters-
I've used a 2.5", but 2.25" is painful when hard.
The ace hardware variety are really similar to the shined up
chrome rings in adult stores btw
