Does a straight guy react differently than a gay guy? As a gay guy, I tend to take it as a compliment and find it hot, as long as it doesn't lead to being stalked. And if I'm approached, I just say thank you but not interested in anything more.
Any views?

I have been in that situation once or twice, where a guy in a group shower had an erection, and I thought, "Hey, good for him." There was, fortunately, nothing sinister about it, it just seemed as though the guy had one and that was that. I was even tempted to give myself permission to get one, but I didn't have the nerve. Sadly, we don't live in a society that knows how to talk openly about our penises, especially erections.
