It goes back to highschool biology--when you did Punnett Squares and studies genetics and chromosomes. It has genetic basis, as do ALL traits, but that is NO guarantee. Wikipedia can be your friend. So can Google.

There have been other posts about this. Certainly genetics plays a part, but is never a guarantee. For myself, our family is very well hung. Dad plus two brothers.

Yes my dad and my two younger borthers are all larger than myself...I know from going to the YMCA pool and showering with them after swimming and also dad had talked with all of us about our bodies and I also shared the room with my brothers till college! Paternal grandfather huge, dad big my brother about ten 1/2 and myself. Balls and all. So in my family it is all on the paternal side. I have seen my cousins and uncles on mom's side in briefs it is just flat in front. Amazed me. Repeat thread.

I remember seeing my dad flaccid as a kid, probably about 6 inches flaccid as opposed to my 5-5.5". Bit bigger than me.

seen my dad growing up, but never hard he had a huge semi but short, my brother and me was the same 6" or little over my nephew pretty much the same as us, my son 16 is more , he is around 7" when seen mornings with wood or when walking him up for school if it was sticking out of his boxer fly before

I never saw Dad with a boner but my brothers have hardons about the same size of mine. I never measured them or anything but they look about the same except my younger brothers dick looks just a little thicker.

Yes. This is a repeat forum question. I have read many times that it is maternal and I have read nearly the same number of times it is paternal. I can't with authority say which side of the family the gene favors, if it does favor one over another. From my experience I can only say it appears that I may have been endowed from both sides of my family as both my grandfathers were exceptionally huge. One I saw and the other I was told stories about though I did not personally see. My father and uncles (two paternal, one maternal) on both sides of my family (except the uncles that married my fathers two sisters...my mother had no sisters) from what I know are/were very big as well. My brothers and the cousins I am aware of are also very big. None of the older generation, both men and women, are still alive, so I have to rely on what I learned years ago and have seen. My brothers and cousins are still around and scattered around the country and all are exceptionally large.

Dad is pretty big, close to the same size as me if I were to guess (accidentally walked in on him). Dont know about the brothers yet as both of them are youger than me.

Though I'm an only child and my dad died when I was 2, I think I kind of inherited from him, as I heard once my mom talking to her friends about how he was "still the biggest she had ever had", and believe me, my mom's got quite a bit of expierence. I also found some naked images of them in Ibiza, in a nudist beach, and soft he looked bigger than me, though I may be thicker...

I believe inheritance plays some part. I have six brothers and my dad is one of 5 boys, all of whom only have male offspring. So lots of cousins. From observation I see that at least flaccid the majority are above average. A large flaccid penis may not be huge erect but will definitely be bigger than a small flaccid penis when erect. Genes play an important part I am sure.
