Sex in Hot Tubs

I was just wondering...I've done this before, but with a girlfriend who was on the pill, so we didn't use a condom...what is the max temperature that condoms can withhold? Also, are there any chemicals

Sex in Hot Tubs

I was just wondering...I've done this before, but with a girlfriend who was on the pill, so we didn't use a condom...what is the max temperature that condoms can withhold? Also, are there any chemicals in hot tub water that would respond badly to latex? Just wondering cuz I wanna have some hot, fun, safe-sex in my hot tub with a girl

thanks

Yeah, and don't go out of your way to test the strength of the latex -- the heat from the hot tub could weaken the condom a bit.. probably not enough to affect the condom during sex, but i wouldn't go near a jet with it on or anything and then expect it to be a-ok...

just my opinion though, take it or leave it.

What is the scientific answer to this question?

Try calling the condom manufacturer and asking.

Seriously.

Trust me, it will NOT be the weirdest question they have heard before. In fact, I seriously doubt you will be the first to ask about this specific issue.

i have had sex with my girlfriend in a hot tub a number of times and have always wondered the same thing about condoms. it seems too risky to try without knowing for sure that it is safe. it would sure help if it was safe cause neither running inside to a bathroom or cumming in the hot tub is very good. lately she's been getting more willing with her mouth though.

don't know about the condom issue, but water forced in the vagina can be quite problematic for her, so take it easy

Yes, temperature over 40°C will kill the semen anyway. Don't know what's that in °F

It's 313,15 K though

btw: buy some liters of milk and fill the tub with it. Great sex believe me

I heard something similar to this on an episode of Nip/Tuck.

104F = 40C

For some reason, this sounds as ridiculous as holistic healing...

most of us know this, but in case there are those who don't ... that is not going to be an effective birth control method by any means. heat might damage some of a guy's sperm but only a small amount unless he cooks in it every day for a maybe a month. even then, sperm is viable inside the body where those temps will not reach. it might affect his fertility in the sense he has fewer viable sperm, but then it only takes ONE doesn't it?

that info on water temperature is aimed at men who are having difficulty impregnating their partner. if they are having difficulty they should avoid hot baths and hot tubs and tighty whitey briefs to give their testes an optimum chance of producing healthy sperm

You said 'testes'...

TESTES 1, 2, 3!

Her risk for infection would be the bigger concern because bacteria thrives in the hot water. As far as condom concerns, I wouldn't worry.
