The Twelve Days of Christmas begins on Christmas and continues to January 6 when th church celebrates the visit of the Wise Men to see the Christ child Jesus. In many countries, "Santa" comes on January 6, not Chrsitmas Eve. And the Eastern Othordox Christians celebrate Christmas on January 6 rather than December 25.

So Merry Christmas as the season continues for several more days throughout the world.
