Merry Christmas from.....

Merry Christmas from the Old Dominion!

(I extend to you greetings of the season from Virginia.)

How about your area of the world? How do you greet others at this time of year in your state/province/country? It would be interesting to see how many different ways there are to say the same thing!

And a happy and blessed Christmas to you, Pecker and everyone else!
In the southern bit of Africa, we're blessed with summer for Christmas. We're all on holiday. We're having friends and family over for Christmas eve, and a lamb on the spitbraai (barbecue) tomorrow for family. Usually it's piping hot- 30-35 C (late 80'-90's F), and everyone usually spends the day in the pool. Other cultures in my country spend the day on the beach, or if they farm, they will slaughter a goat or sheep for a feast. Most people have gone home, but a lot will be travelling tonight, and because my country has the world's highest traffic mortality this weekend, please spare a thought or prayer that they arrive safely to enjoy their festivities. Have a blessed Christmas/Holiday and a good New Year!

Happy Christmas!
3 spirits:

"One bourbon, one scotch, and one beer."

Well, I'm just a few miles to the south of you, Pecker, so I'll be doing a regular southern christmas. Houseful of people, too much food, fire in the hearth, and a few presents.

Merry Christmas and may God's blessings be with you and your family Pecker.

Michiganders generally head out in December in our shorts, and throw some food on the barbecue.
Once that's going, we load up on Eggnog, and other alchoholic beverages and start singing christmas carols haphazardly.

We open gifts "Oh Look, double odd .12ga slugs...JUST what I wanted!"
Enjoy the fire, and then just enjoy the lights and tree.

Generally we have a storm...and it sounds like tonight may be the night.
Theyre forcasting rain..but...Im betting we will get Ice, and turn into snow.

Wishing Safe traveling for everyone.

Merry CHRISTmas!

There are many people who come and go in our lives.

A few touch us in ways that change us forever, making us better from knowing them.

You have made a difference in my life, and for this I am grateful.

Merry Christmas to all the LPSG family. :)

Here in sunny San Francisco, my beloved partner will be flying home on Christmas morning (from a business trip) where we will open presents. Then, as usual, we will share a wonderful dinner with close friends we have known for many years. I am so fortunate.
I wish only the best to everyone here at the LPSG. Merry Christmas.

Pecker, thanks for brightening my stay here with your good humor.

Hi, Pecker and all,

You knew, did you not, that I have long since removed from Illinois and taken up residence in Arizona? The forecast for today here is sunny with a temp of 80. Awwww! I DON'T miss the snow and cold at all.

Just wanted to add my two cents to your original post and wish you and everyone a very happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
