Message from Cardiffdillon

Hi guys, this message is aimed at my many cyberbuddies here at LPSG. Just to let you know that my old Yahoo ID, cardiffdillon, has been deleted by those Yahooligans and that I now have a new persona - cardiffdillon32

When they deleted my ID I lost my entire buddy list and my memberships of loads of groups...to say I'm pissed off with them is an understatement!

For those of you who were on my buddy list, or me on yours, please feel free to contact me and add my name again. I've changed my Yahoo ID on my LPSG profile too.

I'm sorry about the major inconvenience guys...which is something Yahoo clearly aren't!

Why did they delete you? I thought you had to delete yourself on Yahoo. Guess I was wrong.

Seriously though, I've no idea why they did it, although there was a very odd incident a few days beforehand.

I got a message from a chat buddy directing me to some pics, when I clicked on the link there was nothing there, I thought nothing of it at the time. The next day I got messages from lots of people on my buddy list to say I'd directed them to a link and when they opened it there was nothing there. I hadn't sent the message to them so it was a mystery to me.

I have a suspicion that the reason lies somewhere in that incident, if that's not it then I have no idea why they deleted me. They certainly didn't give me any reasons...just that one day neither my ID or password would work and the usual retrieval methods didn't either.

The same thing happened to me. It's some kind of YIM virus that goes through a person's buddy list. Although I didn't get kicked off of Yahoo for it, but I suspect if someone complained, it might have been the reason.

Or maybe it's because you're a Scot. :D

Didn't hurt mine, it's just a little annoying. Perhaps it is worst on a CRT screen than on a LCD screen (which is what I have).

Ugh, this one is really awful. The first one didn't bother me so much, but this is much, much worse.
Friendly advice: If the first one hurt your eyes, don't even try to open this link,or you will regret it...
