Richard Pryor, a wild ride over...

I am sure most of you have heard by now that Richard Pryor died today at 65. After a long battle with MS he died with a smile on his face. He was one of the preeminent comedians of my youth and he inflluenced many of the young comedians we enjoy today. I hope everyone will write a particular funny memory they have about his life and work.

The King has finally gone home.

Uh-huh, he bad.

He real bad, but he done gone home.

No other comedian could wear a chicken suit like Pryor.

He was groundbreaking, daring, and funnier than the thought of Smurf sex. May he rest in peace.

Although Smurf sex does sound pretty funny!

He was raw before it was fashionable, a great comedian who wasn't afraid to poke fun at himself. He left an impressive body of work and gave encouragement to a generation of up and coming talent.

Yah, that's quite true. Pryor will be missed.

Pryor had really powerful humour because he always told the truth, no matter how painful that can be. He was brilliant.

HES FROM MY HOME TOWN. RICHARD WAS THE MAN IN THE COMEDY WORLD. Rip man youll be missed.
