Get as much length covered as you can as well - a big problem I had with normal condoms is that they roll up when you pull out.
Speaking of condom fiascos, I haven't worn a regular size condom for a couple of years. This summer as our grad ball some free flavoured condoms were handed out with party packs of t-shirts, sweets, etc. They stayed in a bag by the bed, alongside the Magnum XLs until this weekend.
