"Be patient. You're about to be rewarded for all the aggravation you went through. Cave in now and make a stink and all that disappears."
Do you think you can keep from making a stink, Little Mister?

| | Gold Member | Hello Matthew,
Hello Pecker,
Your turn, Taurus:
You're the incurable collector.
You comparison shop to always get your moneys worth.
Taurus usually has large eyes with a warm sensual gaze.
You enjoy your home and home cooked meals.
Comfortable around people, introducing yourself, making the first move.
Your best match is with a Cancer(Moonchild). Then Capricorn.
Jealous, possessive, loyal, stubborn, sensual, confident, good common sense, strong willed, strongly sexual, intensely emotional, protective.

In a different thread, you informed us of the exciting news that you would be starting a new job soon. I'd say that BOTH versions of your horoscope were pointing out that very fact.

i'm going to choose the latter ...
my horoscope was clearly fabricated (as all horoscopes are)
and your horoscope, albeit nice, really doesn't apply.
i'll be a cynic all my life. some of it’s done in fun, and that I can appreciate, but by and large, it just isn't something i'm going to take seriously. please, don't take it personal, i'm not only "dubious of your sources" - but of every fraud who recites, incessantly, this threadbare gibberish – be wary of this one and watch for that one - and studies the alignment of the sun, moon and stars in order to receive an afflatus of some kind. it almost sickens me to think how many people read this claptrap and then govern their lives accordingly. it’s the understatement of the century to say: horoscopes are a waste of time.
Ms. Cleo, eat your heart out.

| | | GoneA, I'm in your camp here buddy. I read these things sometimes because I find it amusing, but it does make me sick to know how serious some people take it. I used to read tarot cards- no big deal to me, I play all kinds of cards and am fascinated with numerical probabilities. It can be entertaining to see "what the cards say" about your question, but nothing more. However, I once had a neighbor who actually locked himself in his apartment for almost a month because of a bad reading I gave him! That's with I quit "playing tarot" with other people who might be very weak minded. | | | |

| | | The way some people take horoscopes and occult-type practices so seriously is nearly the same in how some people view religion.
I've always been baffled at how Christians tend to view everything in hindsight with rose colored 20/20 glasses.
"We prayed and prayed for God to guide us and finally came to a decision about what to do."
Fast forward a week, month, whatever...
"Looking back, we realized that we were being selfish and didn't take into account what God wanted us to do."
I fully believe in God, but I don't think one should live a life of regrets based on shoulda, woulda, coulda. Anyway, same with horoscopes (since this is what the topic is about).

| | | I just read this at Bia2.com and it does describe me. General Features for Sagittarius: Sagittarians are basically positive, optimistic and freedom-loving people who are interested in knowledge and travel. They usually seek out lively projects and interests that broaden their horizons. Yet once they have mastered their tasks, they tend to lose interest and start looking for new challenges. Sagittarians dislike having their freedom compromised. This includes getting stuck in confined spaces, doing routine tasks and having to sit still for long periods of time. They don't like people who try to "own" them, tell them what to do or are always complaining and talking about their problems. Sagittarians avoid negativity. Indeed, they like looking at the brighter side of life, laughing, having fun and being carefree. It's important for Sagittarians to be mobile and active. They should take part in sports or other physical activities and travel as much as possible. They are the great travelers of this world: free-spirited and positive, forever seeking new knowledge and experiences. | | | |
