I was wondering, do guyes with great girth have shafts as big as their heads? I'm not that thick and have a mushroom head. In most of the gay porn I have seen, guys with thick dicks have heads about the size of their shafts.

I think it varies - not sure there is any correlation. They come in all kinds of shapes...

I've always considered my shaft and head proportional in girth, as well as length. The corona of the head extends out pass the shaft, hence giving the term 'helmet' credence. i think the girth of a dick is not related to its respective head size... from what i observed, if u r really horny, ur dick head will be as big as your shaft... but if you are not that horny, your shaft is the only one that grows, your head just gets a little big but not proportional...

The head of my dick is definatly thicker than the shaft, no matter limp or hard. I always measure the shaft to quote my thickness, but the head is much larger.
