n2lederhosen: Quoted from my message above: Lederhosen ... I would suggest all men and particularly "big" men should try wearing them - even if only around the house or around town.
With the above statement, I was only trying to convince men to try them to see how comfortable they are, even if they only wear them to lounge around home. I was giving the "big" men that have a hard time finding comfortable attire an alternative piece of clothing to accommodate them.
I concede some of you like DoubleMeatWhopper and Dee might not look perfect in lederhosen, but you could still enjoy them in private! Alone or playing with a partner(s).
National costume? Levis are a national costume here. And worn over there too. What is wrong wearing lederhosen over here? The only thing I see is mens own personal fears. Silly huh?
What I am trying to say is if only more men here weren't afraid of labels and had the balls to wear them.....(not fearing things like the labels mentioned and wasting their lives worrying about little things like that) lederhosen could be a very useful and comfortable garment for all men and particularly for the "big" men.
National costume? Lederhosen are still worn everyday by many men in Germany while working out in the fields and at other jobs, after work, out at clubs and yes on 'special' traditional events (like Oktoberfest). Just like we wear Levis.
Yes, I am of German/Swiss ancestory. But I live in WI and yes, like I said, I do wear mine alot. Your fear of being dubbed 'Alpine idiot' or the like is completely unfounded. I found people really don't care but are very interested when seeing them. I have had people strike up some interesting conversations about them. And yes I can attribute to scoring many times because I was wearing them - remember that flap! ;D |
