I've always liked quotes, and I noticed that they have a quote for almost every opinion. They seem to be, all too often, used as part of the "appeal to authority" fallacy though, and their owners often have quotes that contradict one another.
I think they make good conversational pieces, and work well in signatures, but their usefulness seems to evaporate from there. I'm a fan of Nietzsche, personally. :happy:
