Erm ... it might be scary if it were at least slightly plausible. Dontcha think that if the Chinese wanted more "living space" they might consider invading their immediate neighbor to the north, which has three times the land mass of the US and a military that can't even rescue its own sailors from downed submarines??

Steve
China wants the Us for two reasons. Once, our land is the most plentiful. Now at 300 million, I am sure it has the capiacity to support many more. Most of Russua north of China is Siberia, a land that won't support that many more people.

Also, the US is the world leader right now. It was stated that there isn't room for two tigers. In another words, the US must be done away with in order for China to become the new world leader.

This is alarming. We are fighting a poor country that had no designs on the US. Meanwhile, North Korea and China are planning a future military attack on us and we just look the other way.

The only thing that can save us is for Dick Chenny to "think" that there are lots of oil wells or oil fields in North Korea and China. WE would be at war in a matter of months. Bush?? He doesn't know. Cheney and associates have been running this country ever since Bush got elected the first time.

I am so sick of popular conspiracy theories. Think for yourselves people, don't buy prepackaged concepts. Maybe oil is a factor, but its not the only reason for iraq. Oil is running out anyway and starting a whole war over what iraq just has isn't worth the time, bullshit and expense you have to go through, There are other factors

LOL, sorry, but "Oil is running out anyway, so we're not going after that?" Okay, I'm all ears, what are these magical "other factors"?

I'm sick to death of having an acknowledgement of the facts as they are occuring called a "conspiracy theory". Fortunately, even we stupid Americans are catching on. You slow ones in the back of the room are going to have to catch up. Of all the bad rulers around the globe, why did we choose this one? You don't really believe this was a personal vendetta to avenge his father, do you? You REALLY can't believe we're there to spread freedom, or do you?

if you're a politician, it's a no-brainer - you're spending money that isn't yours, on a highly visible campaign which will distract the majority of people from the fucking mess you're making of your own countries. it's a win-win situation for them.

****Edited, as I don't need to rant****

I'll head north, and hold down my own fort, especially when the shit hits the fan here in MI, when the automakers fold.
I grew up knowing how to live the Mountain Man's life, so im set.

"Americans" Or so they call themselves can't stick together for shit anymore.
Theyre lazy, Passive, and dont want to "Stir things up or create a fuss".

Let them attack, its no different than the flood of foreigners we have now in the country.
Mabee it will force people to realize HOW this country was built, and how much hard work it was to make sure it stayed ours.

If not, then they'll die. Good riddens.

It's not worth the time? Let’s see, the bush cartel (partners in crime along with the Saudi’s) is pocketing millions of dollars a day from this "oil crises."

Just one more fun fact to know and tell; since the invasion of Iraq, Cheney has pocketed in excess of 12 millions dollars on his profit sharing as the past CEO of Halliburton. Halliburton, Brown & Root and their subsidiaries just reported record second quarter earnings of roughly a billion dollars. That's net. Not bad for a company that was very near bankruptcy when cheney resigned to become a demigod.

The Saudi oil reserves are below 50%. Iraq is the second largest pool of oil on the planet. The Sunni's are getting Iraq. Who runs Saudi Arabia? Who do you think we're going to give Iraq to?

Not worth the time and trouble to "whom?"

Oh, and the expense? It ain't costin' them nuthin'.
Just a few hundred billion of OUR dollars, our children's dollars and their children's dollars....and on and on and on, before this is paid for. Never mind a few thousand American soldiers lives. Small change.
