but in places like where i came from, herbal medicines are being used in place of commercial/ synthetic medicines as they are cheap. They are also like, as effective than their synthetic counterparts.
just foe example, like guava leaves. they can be used as alternative to antibiotics. also the rosy periwinkle flower is also a known cure to leukemia.
i know studies should be conducted on these herbal plants to prove its effectivity and possible side effects. i believe that majority of commercial derugs came from herbal sources.
