Perhaps a sign of changing times is the "confrontational boldness" of people today/cause in the past folks were more polite (than my view of today) and I think it is related directly to the personality of politics today.
Under generalized circumstances, people in the 1950s', 60s' and 70s' were much more private and reserved (again my observation) into sticking their noses into others business.
In closed circumstances, school, high school, college, military service, individuals were more likely to be exposed to "each other" than in the community in general. In literally all cases, you may be exposed as hung like a horse or always hard to those observers, only the first couple of times. Then "they" knew, if it really mattered, that "you" WERE hung. Likely within the groups, after the realization (oh! it's big) few comments derogatory or complimentary were offered unless the persons were close to you.
The suspicious nature of society, emboldens those who are likely to possess the pushy, bossing personality into confronting anyone they (may not) like. Why??? Self-importance, and yet very little charactor themselves, "bring down/put down" is the game.
At my age and physical self I have been through "it" and while losing my "cool" occasionally, I have been able to deal with the attitude and attempts to demean.
Too long winded, Sorry........You need to appreciate and NOT label yourself.
Thanks, any comments??

| | Member | I have been accused of having a semi when I didn't and I have been accused of the old sock in the shorts trick too.
When I was in the military some of the black guys and all of the white guys in my company in boot camp thought I was sporting wood all the time. I finally proved to them it was completely flaccid by folding it in half.
While employed in State Government I was accused of the old sock trick. I went to a training session and the second day the main instructor made a comment about it (the old sock trick) to the entire group. No he didn't call names but, everyone knew who it was aimed at. The next morning when I came out of the shower, I made sure to be naked so my roommate could see that it was all me. Shortly after our first break the instructor apologized for his comment made the previous day. On our lunch break he sought me out and apologized to me personally. Needless to say I was very popular amongst the ladies untill they found out I preferred the guys, there were a couple of guys that turned out to be very happy, but that's another story in itself!!

| | | ravenously: Yes, I have been accused of being hard when I wasn't. I was getting out of the pool once when I was in middle school and my suit was pressed tight to my body. everyone thought I was hard, but I wasn't. I was angry that everyone thought my erections were that "small". lol. I hadn't yet realized that I was larger than most. That incident has effected the way I've exited pools ever since. | | | |

When I was in high school I was teased constantly about having wood all the time, even though I didn't. You know how kids are, the more I denied it, the more they believed it. I finally learned to shrug it all off, but underneath, the embarassment was always there. | Starting in grade 8, whenever I wore tight pants people accused me of having an erection. It also didn't help that people were always looking at my crotch.
A friend of mine recently met a guy who knew me in high school who brought up the fact that I "had a hardon for three days straight." For some reason, I didn't just say that those kids are idiots because they don't understand that larger penises show all the time, and now he believes it too. It made me really upset that people thought that, or that all these years later that's all people remember me for.

| | | Ya gotta love those people who won't make room for you to sit on the bus, then act all bothered about your bulge in their face. Most of the comments I hear about "the kid with the hard-on"(whether intended for my ears or not), seem to come about in public transportation situations. Usually I ignore it, but with a couple of very rude people I've made comments along the lines of "I'm sorry that's the biggest you've ever seen, sorry I can't show you more but I'm just not very excited right now." (I have bad days sometimes.) | | | |

| | | I get checked out regularly, but as long as not one oogles or stares or gets invasive, it's all cool.
As far as getting teased about being hard in the locker room - just once that I can remember. I'm much, much more of a show-er than a grow-er so it alwasy looks big. In high school, one guy, started going on and on about me having a hard-on. "Check it out. Jack's got a fucking boner."
I didn't. But I did got embarrased and turned red. Not knowing how to respond, I reacted quickly and did what every 16 year old does, "Fuck you. What are you a fag? I bet you wish I had a hard-on, don't you?"
This was followed by more "fuck you"s and "no, fuck you". It was all over after that. That was pretty much the end of it.

| | | I know how this goes. in high school and even now I get comments or questions regarding if i'm erect or semi. I remember last year during track after we ran we showered and one guy asked if I was hard and I told him no and that I was naturally large soft, he didn't believe me so I picked it up and kind of folded it. and just a couple months ago I was showering and another guy wondered if I was semi hard, he said my penis looked really big but I told him i'm naturally well hung when completely soft. so yeah it does happen, but just think, the guys who accuse you of that are just jealous because they aren't hung like horses. | | | |

| | | Back when I was 12, my j/o buddy and I decided to "recruit" his cousin to j/o with us....... long story short when we all dropped our shorts his cousin looks at my junk as says "why are you hard already?"
my j/o buddy, (his cousin) tells him that im not hard and he insisted i was....
i kept wondering why does he think im hard and my dick is limp, swinging, spongy and not stiff at all.
A couple of minutes later i was hard, flogging the dolphin in full view of him at total stiffness, much stiffer and larger than when we first dropped our undies........ he never made mention of his previous comment about me being hard... hmph

| | | Yes all the time I get the ones after swim meets from the other team showering with us and the team mates saying "hey look at that guys dick" or when I still have my swim bikini on and they say "look he's getting a hard on" but little do they know when I hear that kind of talk and when I am showering I show them what hard is all about! if they are staring I am showing it off to prove, its just big when its soft and big when its hard! | | | That people sometimes jump to the wrong conclusions about how you look goes with the territory I think. It has happened to me a fair amount. A couple of examples:
Someone I knew at univ, when we happened to meet years later: "Oh, you are the man who used to walk around with a permanent hardon." Odd that he never said anything at the time, or that he didn't note that I was still in the same condition! I told him that it wasn't so, but I didn't offer any further explanation; on a few other occasions when the same thing has been said, but the circumstances of the conversation are different, I have given the reason.
Back at school, that business of walking from changing room to the showers and back again. I tried to walk in a way which mimimised movement, if you know what I mean, but maybe that selfconsciousness made it all the worse. People would accuse me of springing a semi every time I took a shower. It was only when on a few occasions the staring and the comments actually brought on a semi that they realised how wrong they had been.

| | | I think I'll wade in on this from the other side of the conversation. You see I am one of the men who would look around to see what other men have.
I have always been curious. May have been the hypospadia making me wonder what a normal penis looked like. May have been that starting puberty at 16+ had something to do with it. Maybe being so much smaller than all my cousins and later school friends. Maybe it was the desire to not be called derogatory names like chicken dick.
Yes I looked and sat quietly wondering what it would be like to be hung like that. I wondered if the girls would go google over me like they did over the hung ones. No, I never got up the nerve to say anything for fear that I would be branded queer. Some of the guys who were hung were actually close friends. I heard the teasing they received and never thought it bothered them. I knew the teasing I received was way less complimentary than that they received.
I have learned to appreciate that some men have been totally blessed to possess a penis that is large. Some take it for granted. They don't appreciate their blessing. I don't think they understand how a large, normally functioning, good looking penis affects those who don't have.
Well enough of my ranting. God bless. mal
