K, so I know this post is mostly for straight men, but I felt the urge to put in some change in word form...

I work as a stripper, and I've been offered largely varying amounts of money to do various sexual acts (that I absolutely wouldn't mind doing for free with someone I really liked). I'll tell you, while the smaller sums are more offensive, even the prospect of doing anything like that for $1000's (which I've been offered) still grosses me right out the door. Not that you straight guys care, but thought I as a gay guy would jump in with a different perspective. :) Its ok for your price to be high. Mine is too for having sex with a woman. There is one thing for sure I find really problematic about having sex with them.

1) For me to perform oral sex "down there" on a female, I think we'd have to talk well into 5 figures. WELL into it. Really. I think I feel about this like straight guys feel about being effed up the ***.

I know married couple whose lives are too much like prostitution, ie. the wife won't put out until the husband does certain chores around the house, or the husband won't take his wife out for dinner until she gives him head. I think prostitution is at least honest.

Yeah, unfortunately, it's too real to be very funny. Our whole culture tells men these kinds of things- drive a nice car, she'll want to fuck you. Buy her dinner, she'll feel obligated to give you head. Give her flowers, she'll give you sex. Money is just another gift, I really don't see it as very different. I have been trying very hard to deprogram myself from this kind of bullshit thinking. I think people should take turns picking up the tab unless one makes considerable more money than the other. Even then, if I'm dating a guy who makes more money than I do, I love to buy him dinner sometimes, he usually hasn't been given anything in a long time. If I make more money then he does, I'll offer to buy more frequently. I think it should just depend on who has the most expendable cash, not on gender.

I suppose I have a fairly grounded approach along the same vein as Alt back there. I'm a grad student and certainly no richer than I was a few years back. Considering that my grad stipend doesn't do much more for me than pay my bills and debts, I would probably be more tempted to take up an offer. Of course, the offer would have to be as confidential as possible, discreet, and a clean exchange, and preferably from a guy I found physically attractive.
