Ty Englad was not the fiddle player. He was a guitar player and went on to a semi-successful solo career before reuniting with Garth Brooks on his "retirement" tour.

Isn't Google great? I simply googled "Garth Brooks' fiddle player" and I was able to find out his actual name! His name is Jim or "Jimmy" Mattingly. I think that he's pretty good looking and I always got all hot and bothered over his bulges!

Today's "country" sounds are much different than the C&W music of yesterday. Wonder how many fantasized over Faron Young, Billy Walker, Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, Johnny Horton and others of that era?

Hell even a few years ago I was turned on by Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw, Clint Black and George Strait.

Actually, I very rarely listen to music on the radio anymore since they play so many girl groups like the Dixie Chicks.
