Yeah, women don't really base sexual attraction on looks (well, they do care if you're skinnier or shorter than they are because it makes them feel self-conscious about their own body, but that's usually it), so they aren't going to check you out much.

Straight men naturally look at a man's body as a status symbol; the size of his chest, arms and - yes - his penis determine whether or not he's an alpha male; to compare that guy to their self and see where they stand in the "tribe." I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a sexual thing, however.


Straight men can definitely notice if a guy has a good body, but they're probably going to feel a sense of inadequacy. So, they're usually not going to give out a compliment. If guys were in a locker-room/shower together and someone said "Wow, you have a great chest," everybody would most likely think he was gay and it would create a lot of negative energy between them.
