I agree; you should NEVER do ANY surgery on somebody without proper anesthetic and a good reason. My mother was telling me about the women next to her around the time I was born. . .she said that one mother was upset because they were doing open-heart surgery on the baby, and he was 2 days old. When you're this young, they can't use
any anesthetic at all. Just try and imagine how this feels, even if you use the excuse of "they can't remember it."
