parents having sex

as gross as it may sound has anyone here ever head their parents having sex while growing up?whether it was moaning or hearing the bed squeak?

Only a few times did my parents say they were going to take a "nap".But i never heard anything thankfully.although a few friend of mine had unfortunately walked in on their own.it's a visual they said has taken years to block out

Once when I was about six, I heard my Mom cooing, "¡Ay, Papi! ¡Sí!" I didn't really understand what was going on at the time. Years later, it dawned on me when I remembered it. That's the only time I ever heard them make any such sound.

That may also have been because my parent's room was at the opposite end of the hall from mine and my brother's rooms. I guess that is why I had an apoplectic fit when my mother finally told me the real deal. My response was ," You have got to be kidding! People don't really do that, do they? That is the grossest thing I have ever heard in my life! " That was the voice of an enlightened 4th grader. Ah, what difference hormones make! LOL!

P.S. But I did catch my pastor and his young wife "napping' on the job one Sunday afternoon. It took them a really long time to answer the door and when they did well it was obvious to all that the "napping" alibi was not going to fly, but heh....IT was their home and their business if they wanted to get busy! LOL!

BRMSTN69: I grew up in an old "shotgun" house with no privacy for anyone (until I moved into the attic ) and both my parents were very large people, well one night I was awoke by a loud crash and ran to thier room, yep they had broken the bed doing it. I still have the image burned into my memory. Funny thing is I still sleep in that bed its an antique thats been handed down for generations and have had many good times in it, but I've yet to break it

One night, as I was leaving the TV room to go to bed, I turned and asked them [with a smirk on my face], "Am I going to hear bumping and giggling tonight?"

At first, they were shocked, then they guffawed, and my mom said between fits of laughter, "Young lady, just go to bed and nevermind what happens down stairs!!"

I always wanted that kind of relationship. After all these years, they still enjoy sex frequently. They're a tough act to follow.

Im with Allie, although I never heard my mom and dad having sex, ie I didn't have a dad growing up, I did grow up hearing my mom have a very healthy and open sex life. Growing up mom would just say to me she was just having fun playing adult games with friends, and I would just be oh, that's cool than. Certainly didn't help that my mom is probably the loudest woman on earth it seems.

When I was a teenager my bedroom was next to my parents, with a door connecting. Only once during all those years did I hear them having sex. I either slept through a lot of their activity, or they had very long dry spells. This one time really petrified me during the whole thing and I remember finding it even hard to breath. Sex was never spoken in my family and I guess I considered it a no-no. Maybe this is the reason I was determined to have an 'open' relationship with my son and help him to grow up without a guilt complex and unanswered questions.

Somehow with me, this question "struck a nerve".

I not only heard, but SAW my parents and, a number of times at that.

I was very young at the time (staying in the same room with my parents for several years!). Suffice it to say, I was nonetheless not young enough that it didn't have a negative impact on me for quite awile. --Because, it surely did!
Coupled with yet other indiscretions and (now, in retrospect) "dysfunctional" surroundings, it's a wonder I "turned-out" at all!

As titillating (to some, perhaps) as this might be to hear about or to even imagine, let me just say that witnessing such activity (at age three and four years old) --even in low lighting or almost dark conditions, is quite simply not good. I don't know yet what my parents were thinking about to have even allowed this.

In fact--I'm convinced they WEREN'T thinking.

BRMSTN69: KINK, a "shotgun" house is the long narrow house (usually found in the inner city or"slums") it's one room wide and several rooms deep (you can walk thru every room from the front door to the back door) or if you fired a gun thru the front door it would go straight out the back door, hence the name
