^thanks for the comment. i haven't heard of him, the bookstore i worked at had a gay "section" that was actually just a corner of one shelf and most of what i saw was less than interesting or engaging. i've tried writing it as if the main character was narrating, but i'm beginning to ponder multipe narrators. on one hand, most gay fiction employs that tactic so i don't wanna be misconstrued as conforming, then again if everyone's doing it that must be because it works so it's definitely a possibility. the main character is very vulgar and one-dimensional. i think it might give the story more volume to hear priscilla's p.o.v. and of course the relationship between tremaine and julian would be given another level of depth to understand both sides. you've really give me something to think about. that's exactly why i'm posting these drafts, for valuable feedback. so far it seems the story is engaging people, but the format might need some tweaking if not some serious plastic surgery.
