Just thought I'd present the other side of things! :P

I was an active sex worker in my 20s, and I know plenty of people who have had hundreds of partners. I'm sure there are many of you here. :D

I honestly have no idea. Over 200? Not inconceivable, but I couldn't swear to it. It just never occurred to me to keep count. Plus, what constitutes sex to me might not coincide with someone else's definition. Oral sex and intercourse, certainly; but what about mutual masturbation? Frottage? Intra-crural? But even with these interpretations settled, I would still have no fucking clue.

I've settled on a definition that works for me: I may not be able to specify an exhaustive list of acts which constitute sex, but I know subjectively when I've crossed a boundary with someone. That boundary is situationally dependent -- culture plays a factor, as do professional and family relationships. (You give your mom a peck on the cheek, that's okay. You french your mom, and you've definitely crossed a boundary.)

Well, I must say I'm a little surprised at the results so far, thought more of us would be in the upper tiers, but at least I know there's a few of us out there. DMW, I don't even know what the last two things you mentioned mean, so if you would like to expond, I'd love to learn. Personally, I define sex as any activity engaged in for the purpose of achieving orgasm, so I'm probably in the 200+ range, although have no actual idea.....really never seemed important to count. Even as a Dom where I wasn't undressed or involved in "the act", it was still sexual in nature, so it counts to me. Now if I were to only count sex by MY orgasms, the number would be sadly lower......

I haven't really been counting, but I'd estimate somewhere around 40.

Oh ... okay. Frottage is also called Rubbing off. It's basically rubbing your body, usually naked, against someone else's for sexual stmulation. No penetration or manual stimulation. Intra-crural sex is a sustitute for intercourse where a man puts his penis between his partner's closed thighs instead of actual penetration.

Heath, if we count French kissing, my number would definitely be over 200 ... and most probably over 400. Am I more of a slut than I thought?

P.S. I think it's "intercrural", not intra-, since the action is between two thighs and not within a single thigh.

Hey, I'm still trying to get over the fact that flammable and inflammable mean the same thing.

Our quirky English language is a travesty, jonb. I have a hard time coming to terms with having only one word for "love". The Greeks, of course, have five and can use the correct one for the meaning they want to convey. We have to love everything equally, all the way from God to a bottle of beer. --There's just no justice!
