I beta tested the original Digital Darkroom software that ended up becoming Photoshop.
That was 1986.
Unless you find a PRINTED photo prior to 1986, there is a good reason to suspect its been photoshopped.
As others have pointed out... Even if you find an older actual print... faking such a picture thru physical darkroom technique is not that hard.
Although physical re-touchers might hide their technique thru making grainy, indistinct and black and white images in which obvious fakery is less noticeable.
