| | | When you guys say you shave your dick and balls, what exactly do you mean? I trim it all shorter with an electric shaver. But if I take the shield off, it cuts me. How do you shave your dick? And how in the hell do you shave your balls to the point of being smooth?
I truly want to know so that I may do it also. I'd appreciate multiple answers so that I can get a few methods or see if there's one common way of doing it.
Thanks. | | | |

| | | GoodGuy, a quick search on Google provides lots of resources on how to shave your cock and balls with the least amount of difficulty and danger.
And I agree with KinkGuy, I'm very happy that the more hirsute look is coming back. I've never been hairy myself and being blond it basically looks like I'm smooth anyway, but I don't much like the ultra-smooth, plastic-looking circuit party boy look. I like guys to be guys, but I do like guys to be well-MANicured :P

| | | ok, here goes my moment of sounding like an idiot, but is shaving better than Nair or any other methods?
I wax my bikini line, but don't think I'd have the nerve to endure the pain on the whole thing. And I realize that waxing is most likely not a fun choice for guys at all. But seriously, is shaving with a razor a preferred method?

| | | Guys can you imagine Nair on your sac? Yeowwwww. Unless, you like that sort of thing. :P When shaving other men's genitals, I have found a good shaving gel with moisturizer a triple blade razor and a gentle touch always works. I have shaved my scrotum which I don't like, but do regularly shave the shaft of my penis to remove the hair that grows about a fourth of the way down. I shave my mug in the shower and just include my penis grooming as part of the daily routine. | | | |

| | | I dunno, I've said before I can do my genitals easier than my face!
In reply to Texass, nope NO WAX! In the name of all that is evil! NOoooooooo!
In reply to 714Goodguy, I use a razor blade, not a beard trimmer. Those with lubricating strips are a goodsend.

| | | Thanks for the responses I've gotten so far.
But I still have to ask about technique.... If you use a razor blade to trim your balls, do you completely shave it smooth or is there like 1/8" stubble? Do you stretch out your sac and shave it like your face?

Do you stretch out your sac and shave it like your face? | I DON'T shave my sac for exactly the reason you suspect. The skin is too loose and flexible to shave it bare without risking a lot of nicks. I've tried it a couple times, but it seemed like too much of a hassle. I go over it with a low setting electric instead, so you have to look close to tell it's not shaved.
I do shave the shaft though, lathered up in the shower. It's not difficult and if you do it regularly then you aren't trying to mow the lawn with a weedwacker.
The ladies seem to like it trimmed/shaved. I suspect that it's similar to our reaction to theirs: half the fun is knowing that she took the time to groom it to look sexy.

| | | Depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes I shave bald, pubic and balls, sometimes I just let it grow. The pictures I put up just the other day I haven't shaved in more than a month.
When I shave, I use an electric shaver first. Same kind I would use for my beard. After that I shave smooth with a mach 3. I get a couple of nicks sometimes, but I've gotten rather good at it.

| | | Me, I go back to basics, keep skin taunt and shave, for me it's piss-easy. It's a good technique if you follow the grain as well. | | | |

Do you stretch out your sac and shave it like your face? | I shave using a Venus Devine razor and Edge shaving gel while in the shower. The Venus razor (meant for women) glides right over everthing. I have never been cut or nicked by it. I used to get nicked by my electric razor all the time.
Go with the hair grain to avoid razor bumps and burn.

| | | Been a shaver for years! Actually use a shaving powder so no nicks and takes only about 5 mins to come truly clean. Wife likes it clean too and I find I doon't sweat nearly as much as I used to.That is the reason I first tried it and it worked for me....no more jock itch! | | | |

| | | I shave everything. I have done this since I was 17. I use skintimate gel. After wards I use shower body lotion that I wash off when done. Never shave when you have full growth. You should trim before you shave. I shave about once a week usually on Friday night. I bartend at a local gay bar in boots and a g-string and a cap. So shaving is a must at the bar I work at. I can shave my whole body in the shower in about 20 minutes. Takes longer when I have more growth though. If you keep it up it is easy. Every now and then not too often I have some irritation usually because the razor is not new. I never did nair or any chemical hair removals. Chemical removals always burned up my skin and should not be used in private areas. I do not like wax either because if done wrong or too hot it will bring blood vessels to the surface causing a lot of brusing. | | | |

| | | suaige: did it once when sack was really tight in the shower, light touch and a blade worked well. Other times, not so much luck. Mostly trim now, except my shaft, thin hair grows almost the full length on the underside. don't like it much. But I do like the way things look more connected shaved, some what like a trunk on an elephant, just a part of the bigger whole, rahter than something sticking out of a bush.
has anyone tried one of those new personal electric shavers that are supposed to work good on these sensitive parts.
