Ok, when i was 8th grade many many years ago we learned all about condoms and what not. In todays time of sex, are these modern day kids not getting pulled aside and learning this? It's all about personal choice really. I never used condoms (okay i did when i lost my virginity and a handful of times after that) and i knew that i was taking a risk. Yes call me a stupid teenager and all the rest of it but no one could have told me any different. My aunt tried to talk to me about condoms and i'd just act i was doing just that and do my own thing.
I was more scared of getting pregnant than getting an STD so i practiced other forms of pretty reliable birth control. This is where it pays off to be with mostly virgins.
Times have changed but along with it people have also been educated a bit more than we used to be and a hell of a lot sooner.
Landon, if a guy pulled out a dentaldam on me when i was young i would have laughed at him honestly. No offense to you all who practice this form of safe sex but it is still a bit foreign to carry dams in your purse.
But then again having 3 or more sex partners by highschool graduation was considered a lot when i was in HS. |
