They don't push their beliefs on anyone else. They hang out with people that believe the way they do. They are financially independent and self sufficient. I have no problems with people wanting to do this if they are good at it. My life isnt the choice for some. I chose to have one child for my reasons. If Susie down the street has 14- i don't care as long as my taxes aren't paying for their family to survive.

How many people do we all know who live off the system with only one or two kids? I see them all the time in the grocery store in my poverished state. How many kids are in DHS in foster care? While these 18 kids seem nuts to the rest of the modern world...lets compare them 20 years from now and see how many turn out to be degenerates of society due to poor parenting.

We don't like people who don't live the we way do, do we? I would prefer to grow up in the Duggar home compared to my homelife as a child. I've seen hours of documentary on them and they are far from perfect....their boys are very respectful to their mother and sisters. The girls love having a role in their own family and all want to have large families of their own one day. What's the harm? These children are homeschooled, live outside of town and do their own thing.

I've seen a lot more damage in kids raised in my public schools going up.
