Men in this society no longer have a clear role. No longer have any clue as to what to do to attract a woman.

Used to be the man provided the money....
Today women largely provide their own... and without a real need for the working contribution of men... women, themselves, seem to be somewhat confused as to what they want from men.

...and so can not consistently tell men what they will have to do to satisfy them.

Its tragic, really. Men want and feel a need for women out of proportion to women's need for men.

The birth control pill has resulted in men becoming an accessory to a woman's life.
If only you gals were not so damn beautiful, desirable and delightful... perhaps it would not hurt so bad.
