Incidently, I read that a majority of gay men are left handed. I am gay so I wonder if there is any truth in that as well.

The majority of all men gay or straight are
Right handed, I would like to see the study that implies otherwise, because It would be flawed....
BTW, when i hang it hangs to the left, otherwise it pulls in and points straight forward.
