Madame R, thanks for your post and I agree with what you wrote. I find some straight porn to be insanely misogynistic, but this doesn't really surprise me because many men are misogynistic. I'm sure I'll get attacked for this, but when I hang out with straight guys, and no women are around, the guys say the worst, meanest, cruelest things about women. And you wonder how they can say they love them? Many straight men seem to have that "virgin" and the "whore" attitude. The virgins are their mothers and wives. All other women are "whores", especially sexually active ones. These men take the mind-set that the women are deserving of every bit of disrespect because a true lady would never put herself in those sexual situations. So these men, dream of these women and they hate these women. The mentality is insane to comprehend but it's very real and very common. And porn is the one area in public that it's acceptable to express this desire and hatred of women's sexuality.

Sometimes I think if women really knew what guys thought about, they would never go near them--they'd be better off being lesbians.
