Dude, I'm gonna have to call you out on this one. There is a HUGE difference between Blu-Ray and DVD.
Blu-Ray = 1920x1080 resolution
DVD = 720x480 resolution
The quality of the image is significantly better. The reason most people don't see a difference is because they don't have a screen/monitor that will display the video it's all it's glory.
