There you get alot of 'I homeschool so I am better than you comments' or the lastest 'I am a better mother cause I don't vaccinate my kids'. I guess I was wrong on that level because never in cyber world or my real life has anyone ever, in my 33 years on this earth ever said anything so nasty to me as S did. I think I should just bow out of this board like a lady and talk to the ones whom I have made 'friends' with via PM and maybe lurk at some of the good-looking men. If I need advice, I will just search threads. This place has more contention than all the parenting chatboards and other women dominate chatboards combined. Heck, I will take 'You're a lazy neglegent parent for putting your kids in public schools' comments over 'normal children deserve life, yours does not' any day of the week. Bye people ...waves..... I have no idea who the guy was that completely treated you shitty in your thread. I do know that many of us reported his commentary as soon as he said them. I have no idea why he didnt get banned. I've been banned before, as have many of the people involved in this particular thread. We see things from several perspectives here. Rather than to argue about who should have been banned and why, I'd rather see a real female here who can contribute like yourself. I don't want to see people get thrown out who weren't necessarily trying to cause problems.
I am a mother, and i wouldnt have taken too kindly to what he said either. I think that LPSG has bitchy episodes that come and go in seasons around here. I was gone for 5 weeks recently and it appeared as if things had calmed down a bit. But i can feel the tension rise in several threads going on here at the same time.
Since my registering in Sept. I've not personally seen someone say vile comments such as the comments said to you. But this has gone so far beyond that to the point where things are going to get uglier if we don't let it go.
The idiot who made the comments in your thread is not well liked around here and most likely blew his entire credibility based on how he handled himself.
