You need not be embarrassed about asking a doctor. An experienced doctor, especially a Urologist, will have seen many in the course of his practice; or, at the very least, seen pics in med. school. You'll most likely get a clinical response such as "it happens".

The advocates of R.I.C. within the medical profession do in fact have a lot to answer for. However, I don't expect to see them "own up" during my lifetime. Most of them are unrepentant even when the "complications" are presented to them.
