Yeah, I guess I did do some ridiculous generalization about the South there. I have only experience with 37 years of living in Texas......and 5 years of living in Virginia. All I have to go on is gut instinct and talking to people. And I do have a tendancy to exaggerate and lump things in to a group. And I was thinking of the South in terms of the Bible Belt.
