Yes they can.
They form little pustules that can be ruptured.

The best time to get a swab or a skin scrape is before they rupture and dry out.

well, i googled it and apparently herpes outbreaks can be popped. now, i think i just lost my appetite

Yes they can be popped, but HPV cannot. It's usually very painful and causes spreading in certain scenarios. But everyone's different along with outbreaks so the best time is right when one pops up, but right before it ruptures.

Just to clarify

- They appear about the same time each month and ONLY on the labia minor no where else
- Usually only 1 or 2 at a time and only last a couple of days - clear up as if never been there.
- When popped - clear up like a facial pimple
- Not likely herpes - first appeared a year or so - she tells me there is no one else - no reason to doubt -Yeah OK I know but - the cheques in the mail LOL
- Only trims and waxes and don't appear to be the same type of in grown bump etc - anyway they dont appear in those areas anyway
- We have always had regular unprotected sex, incl oral (married 17yrs) I've never noticed anything usual - and yep she's the only one - promise
- Dr didnt seem too concerned - but I wasnt there, and not Dr's bits to worry about.

I was wondering if any other ladies got these as well.


Yep sounds gross I'm still 'LMFAO'- but hey that's the nature of this board if we cant chat about stuff like this - well - go sit in a dark room by yourself with your hands on your head and see how long you can go without touching yourself, I'm sure there's some record to attempt- your comments are suggestive of some form of cognitive developmental delay and you perhaps need to seek professional weekly advice and treatment. Herpes can lay dormant and appear many years later.. Not to try to scare you, just educate, but it really sounds like a normal occurrence whether or not other ladies on here experience it. If it happens again, then just go see someone right then and have it evaluated. That's the best anyone can tell you to do with out being a doctor themselves.

It's most likely hormones. I get almost all the typical premenstrual symptoms including breakouts up to 10 days before I start bleeding.

Yes, something like this could be an STD and it is always best to get these things checked and assume they are til proven otherwise.

FWIW, in the case of plain, ordinary, non-STD related pimples (whiteheads, whatever) on any area of the body an anti-septic zinc cream is the bee's knees. Zinc-based nappy-rash cream is particularly kind and helpful for any cuts, abrasions, chafing, etc. in and around the vagina and anus.

Thanks for your replies especially 12 months on. It appears that is a hormone issue, however for everyones info I did get tested and had a clean bill. I also mentioned to the Dr who tested me and she confirmed that it was not a STI on the verbal advise I gave, and was very confident.
